PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were hurt, and one person died in a crash on Little Road Saturday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to FHP, Vehicle 1, a Kia Soul, was traveling northbound on Little Road, while Vehicle 2, a Hyundai Santa Fe, was heading southbound on the same road.
The release said the crash happened on Fivay Road when the Kia attempted to turn left and into the path of the Hyundai, where both vehicles collided.
Both vehicles rotated and stopped in the southbound lanes on the southwest grass shoulder, according to FHP.

The driver of the Kia, a 79-year-old Port Richey resident, was transferred to a local hospital where she passed away due to severe injuries, according to the authorities.
An 81-year-old Hudson resident driving the Hyundai and an 84-year-old Hudson resident riding in the same car suffered minor injuries.
