Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley declared on Thursday that all Americans, including former President Donald Trump, should support Israel.
According to the former UN ambassador, Hamas needs to be destroyed.
“While we have their back now that they’ve been hit, what’s more important is that we have their back when they hit back,” Haley said at a New Hampshire town hall.
Haley, a Trump appointee, jabbed at Trump for calling Hezbollah “very smart” during a rally on Wednesday.

Trump claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “let us down.”
It’s time for a new generation of leaders to “leave the negativity, chaos, and baggage” of the past, according to Haley.
“We can’t have someone who is so clouded with the past that they can’t see the future,” she said to whistles and applause. “Donald Trump was the right president at the right time. I don’t think he’s the right president now.”
Following two GOP debate performances, Haley has surged in the polls and overtook Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who lost his position as the front-runner against Trump.
However, Haley’s 19% supporter share in New Hampshire is still significantly lower than that of former President Donald Trump’s 49%.
Nevertheless, Trump’s attention has switched from bashing DeSantis to pursuing Haley.
Former President Donald Trump offered a prop along with his new nickname for rival GOP presidential contender Nikki Haley. A birdcage.
Trump’s campaign left a birdcage and bird food in front of Haley’s hotel room in Des Moines, Iowa.
Haley posted a photo of the birdcage on X, saying, “After a day of campaigning, this is the message waiting for me outside my hotel room… #PrettyPatheticTryAgain #YouJustMadeMyCaseForMe”
Trump was campaigning in Iowa at the time.
The stunt came days after Haley criticized Trump during Wednesday’s GOP presidential debate in California.
She accused Trump of being soft on China. She argued he remained idle while America’s top global geopolitical foe bought up U.S. farmland, funneled fentanyl into the country through Mexico, stole $600 billion in intellectual property from American companies, and installed a spy base in Cuba.
Haley has experienced a surge in the polls since the debate. On Sept. 21, according to Real Clear Politics, she polled at 3%; as of Monday, she was up to 7%.
As the Tampa Free Press reported on Sunday, Trump responded to Haley, South Carolina’s former governor whom he chose to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, by labeling her a “birdbrain” for comments she made about Trump’s 2016 foe, Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s campaign last week began highlighting that Haley in 2012 told The New York Times that she ran for office after hearing Clinton issue a call for more women to get involved in politics.
On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump declared, “MAGA, or I, will never go for Birdbrain Nikki Haley. No loyalty, plenty of lies!”
“‘I will never run against our great President,’ she said, ‘he has done an outstanding job.’ To which I responded, ‘How nice of you to say, Nikki,’ knowing full well that her words mean nothing,” Trump continued. “She even came to Mar-a-Lago with her family, ‘bearing gifts.’”
“Anyway,” he concluded, “Birdbrain doesn’t have the TALENT or TEMPERAMENT to do the job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
