A popular pro-Trump media figure has been added to a “kill list” that allegedly is kept by the Ukrainian government.
As the Tampa Free Press reported on Monday, Ohio Republican Sen. J.D. Vance demanded that the Biden administration divulge what it knows about Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, who is reportedly a freelance journalist from America and a transgender woman who claims to be a spokesperson for the Ukrainian military.
Vance sought the information after Ashton-Cirillo posted a video last week on social media claiming that “Russia’s war criminal propagandists will all be hunted down,” and that soon “a favorite Kremlin propagandist (would) pay for their crimes.”

The senator urged the Biden administration to reveal whether Ashton-Cirillo is in fact an American and whether federal funding is propping up Ashton-Cirillo’s rhetoric.
On Monday, Revolver News reported that Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec, a staunch pro-Trumper, conservative activist and Ukraine war critic, was added to the list.
The Ukrainian hit list, which is known as “Myrovorets,” which in English means “Peacemaker,” has in the past included public figures such as Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and Glenn Greenwald. Revolver News noted that Musk, although not a media personality, wound up on the list in 2022 after he posted a “peace poll” on X (formerly Twitter) about the Russia-Ukraine war.
Revolver News noted: “The list is teeming with names of people who have fallen out of favor with Ukraine sympathizers and the Ukrainian government. These folks find themselves on this list either for their direct opposition to Ukraine or their perceived lack of support for the nation. … The website has faced tremendous international condemnation, but it continues to exist, completely untouched by the Ukrainian government, who claim it’s not a ‘kill list,’ but rather laughingly describes it as a place to log ‘information’ for law enforcement and special services.”

In response to the news, Posobiec said, “After the collapse of his counteroffensive, [Ukrainian President Volodomyr] Zelensky’s biggest threat isn’t me, it’s his own intelligence services. Hope you don’t get put on the CIA’s Early Retirement Plan, Volod. Drop the receipts on the Bidens and we’ll find you a nice McMansion in Sarasota.”
Sen. Vance, in his letter to the Biden administration, said Americans must know if U.S. tax dollars are funneled to the Ukrainians to “hire weirdos to threaten Americans and others for speaking their mind,” and who are “threatening violence to anyone who opposes the war.”
