SUV Runs Stop Sign Killing 18-Year-Old Spring Hill Man Killed On Motorcycle

SPRING HILL, Fla. - An 18-year-old Spring Hill man has died following a crash that happened around 10:09 pm on Sunday.

SPRING HILL, Fla. – An 18-year-old Spring Hill man has died following a crash that happened around 10:09 pm on Sunday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Spring Hill man was traveling westbound on Cortez Boulevard approaching the intersection of Devlin Street.

Troopers say an SUV failed to yield at a stop sign, entered the intersection and into the path of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle collided with the left side of the SUV, ejecting the driver from the motorcycle and collided with a pickup truck parked at 8129 Cortez Blvd. 

Transported to an area hospital, the motorcyclist later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
