TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police Detectives are requesting the community’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a commercial burglary.
The incident took place on August 18, 2023, around 12:00 a.m. at the Karma Nest Tampa Hotel located at 3001 University Center Dr.
The suspects entered the hotel and accessed an area undergoing renovations. They forcibly entered a smaller room within the hotel and stole various construction tools.

One of the suspects is described as a larger-built Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt and dark-colored shorts. The other suspect, a female, was seen wearing a long-sleeve dark-colored shirt, dark shorts, and a hat.
Tampa Police Detectives are actively investigating the case and are pursuing leads and evidence. Individuals who have information about the burglary or the identity of the suspects are urged to contact the Tampa Police at 813-231-6130.
