HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla. – Highlands County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating a firearm used in a case of attempted murder.
According to deputies, on Aug. 5, 2023, the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted homicide in the Leisure Lakes area of Lake Placid.
“The suspect has since been taken into custody. However, we need assistance locating the weapon involved,” said HCSO.
