SARASOTA, Fla. – New College of Florida (NCF) announced Thursday partnerships with several area hotels for new and returning students this Fall. All NCF students that have requested campus housing will be able to walk into their home away from home beginning on Sunday, August 20th.

Out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of the NCF community, Interim President Corcoran has made the decision to shutter all of the Pei dorms.

This decision was made after the recent engineering report indicated air quality concerns.

Demonstrating innovative approaches to the logistics of higher education, including housing, NCF has arranged high quality housing for its new and returning students that were originally assigned Pei dorms.

NCF has shown that it will work diligently for the NCF community in order to provide a world class education and accommodations to maximize the college experience. As such, NCF will occupy the entirety of the Home2Suites location just north of campus and a large block of rooms in the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn. Upperclassmen will be housed in the Hyatt Regency in vibrant downtown Sarasota.

By arranging accommodations through these area hotels, NCF is providing students with housing that exceeds the quality at most other schools. Whether residing on-campus or at an affiliated off-campus hotel, NCF students will have the same degree of freedom and access to both hotel and campus amenities.

NCF is delighted to welcome back all newly enrolled and returning students to its campus this Fall!
