SARASOTA COUNTY, Fl.a – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) arrested 39-year-old Christopher Seningen for 29 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
According to deputies, on July 14, SCSO detectives executed a search warrant at Seningen’s residence, 183 Virginia Court in Englewood, following cyber tips received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Deputies say the tips indicated Seningen had uploaded numerous files of suspected child pornography to a Google server.

Seningen, the sole occupant of the home, was taken into custody without incident.
Because Seningen possessed more than ten images/videos, which included the depiction of sexual battery involving a child, the charges are reclassified one degree higher from 3rd-degree felonies to 2nd-degree felonies.
On July 17, following a forensic examination of seized items, 11 additional felony charges were added bringing the total number to 40.
The defendant remains in custody at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.
