PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 63-year-old Dade City man was killed in a head-on crash around 2:50 am on Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a pickup truck westbound on CR-578.
Troopers say just west of Roberts Barns Road; the pickup truck entered the eastbound lane after the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided nearly head-on with a second pickup truck.

Troopers say the Dade City man’s truck overturned while the second pickup truck stopped along the south shoulder.
The man suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
The driver and passenger of the second truck, two men ages 20 and 21, both from Dade City, suffered only minor injuries.
