ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police Detectives arrested Derick Solomon, 46, for the death of 44-year-old Glendon Anderson.
According to police, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17th, officers responded to 9th Terrace South and Dr. MLK Jr ST S in reference to an injured man.
Through their investigations, detectives discovered that the victim and the suspect had a physical altercation.

Anderson was later transported to Bayfront Hospital and pronounced dead.
The victim and the suspect were known to each other, and next of kin has been notified, police say.
Solomon was charged with 2nd Degree Murder. The investigation is still ongoing.
