Fatal County Line Road Crash Claims 15-Year-Old Spring Hill Girl

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 15-year-old girl from Spring Hill, was killed in a car accident Monday afternoon in Pasco County. At approximately 3:13 p.m. this afternoon, Tatum’s Towing flatbed tow truck was reversing from a driveway onto County Line Road.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a convertible Mazda Miata, driven by a 17-year-old boy from Spring Hill, was traveling eastbound on County Line Road west of Springtime Street. The tow truck reversed into the path of the Mazda Miata, which struck the flatbed portion of the truck and came to rest just east of the point of impact. The passenger, a 15-year-old girl, in the Mazda, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

No other details have been released on this accident, but troopers say that the next of kin have been notified.
