SEU To Host Three Concerts Next Week

LAKELAND, Fla. — Southeastern University’s (SEU) School of Music will host three concerts next week at 7:30 p.m. in varying locations. Read below for further details on each concert.

On Monday, April 3, the SEU Spring Choral Concert will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Dr., Lakeland, FL 33801.

The theme for this spring’s choral concert is “Lord, We Bring Our Gift of Music” and is sponsored by SEU Director of Choral Activities Dr. Daniel Gordon. It will also feature accompanists Thomas Ingui and Seolyeong Jeong. The event is free to attend.

The university’s Fellowship Brass Quintet will present its spring concert on Tuesday, April 4, in the Band Room (Room 149 of Buena Vida East) on SEU’s Lakeland campus.

This event is also free to attend. The program will include a mix of standard quintet literature and pop selections, taking the listener on a unique musical journey. From the clarion sounds of the Baroque to contemporary jazz, the SEU Fellowship Brass Quintet offers an entertaining program of great variety. 

On Thursday, April 6, a Jazz Ensemble Concert will be held in Bush Chapel on the university’s Lakeland campus. General admission is $5 for this event, and children 5 years and younger will be admitted for free.
