They quickly deployed a handline, suppressed the fire through the broken window from the front of the store, then advanced the handline to the interior to completely extinguish the blaze.

Additional crews assisted with firefighting operations and conducted searches of the store. There were no occupants inside the structure at the time of the fire.

HCFR was able to contain the blaze to a small part of the front of the store, minimizing damage and preventing the spread to other areas with potentially hazardous materials.

There were no injuries to civilians or first responders. Investigators are still on the scene, but the fire damage is isolated to the area of an old neon sign system.
