The Democrats’ selective and one-sided outrage over violence was on display again on Wednesday.
Just three Democrats voted for a resolution by which Congress condemned the violence against conservative groups following the overturning of the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision last year.
The resolution was introduced by GOP Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana. Only Republicans signed on as sponsors.
Among the 124 GOP lawmakers behind the bill were Florida Reps. Matt Gaetz, Brian Mast, Daniel Webster, Neal Dunn, Vern Buchanan, Michael Waltz, Scott Franklin, Bill Posey, Greg Steube, Kat Cammack and Gus Bilirakis.
The measure noted more than 100 violent attacks occurred against churches, crisis pregnancy centers, and other nonprofit groups after Roe was toppled.

Johnson’s resolution then outlined in detail many of these attacks.
His bill declared that Congress “condemns recent attacks of vandalism, violence, and destruction against pro-life facilities, groups, and churches; recognizes the sanctity of life and the important role pro-life facilities, groups, and churches play in supporting pregnant women, infants, and families; and calls upon the Biden Administration to use all appropriate law enforcement authorities to uphold public safety and to protect the rights of pro-life facilities, groups, and churches.”
Yet only three Democrats supported that.
They included Reps. Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania, Vincente Gonzalez of Texas, and Kristina Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington.

In other words, exactly zero Florida Democrats voted to condemn violence against pro-life groups, recognize the sanctity of human life, or demand that the Biden administration protect such groups and solve these crimes.
Overall, the bill passed 222-209.
