If you are a convicted felon, with multiple warrants for your arrest, the fastest way to arrest would be to post pictures on social media of yourself with stolen firearms.
A Florida man, who happens to be a convicted felon with multiple warrants, was arrested after he posted photos of himself holding a stolen firearm online.
Geovanni Rodriguez, 19, of Immokalee, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for robbery and burglary by Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
“Thanks to great detective work, our deputies were able to locate a wanted felon and take him into custody without incident,” Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said.

A Collier County Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed Rodriguez was selling firearms on Instagram.
Rodriguez posted photos and videos of himself holding firearms he was advertising for sale. Some of the pictures were taken outside his residence. One of the firearms was found to have been reported stolen.
Deputies located Rodriguez at a residence on Custer Avenue in Immokalee and took him into custody around 9 p.m.
Rodriguez faces additional charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after deputies found a loaded handgun inside the residence which they connected to him, and for the Instagram photos showing him holding the stolen firearm.
