A 56-year-old Pinellas Park man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a stabbing that happened on Wednesday, according to police.

A 56-year-old Pinellas Park man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a stabbing that happened on Wednesday, according to police.

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A 56-year-old Pinellas Park man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a stabbing that happened on Wednesday, according to police.

Investigators say on Wednesday at approximately 7:45 PM, police responded to a disturbance in the 10300 block of Oakhaven Drive, Pinellas Park, in which an adult male reported he had been stabbed.

Investigators determined a resident of the area, Van Vui Duong, invited the man over to his residence.

“While consuming alcoholic beverages, Duong and the victim engaged in a verbal argument that resulted in Van Vui Dong stabbing the victim twice with a knife,” said police.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Duong was arrested as a result of the investigation and charged with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
