Woman Seriously Injured In Dunedin Thanksgiving Day Fire

A woman was injured following a fire Thursday morning in Dunedin, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

DUNEDIN, Fla. – A woman was injured following a fire Thursday morning in Dunedin, according to the Dunedin Fire Department.

Dunedin Fire Rescue received the initial call at 9:10 AM for a working structure fire at 1695 Lakeview Ln #D. 

The first units arriving on the scene found heavy fire in a single-story residence. 

According to officials, a woman was laying outside the structure and was transported to the hospital in serious condition. 

Another person was treated on the scene, according to officials.

The Fire has been extinguished and the State Fire Marshal has been requested for the investigation.  Crews from Palm Harbor, Sunstar, and Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
