The City of Tampa has issued a nationwide call for artists to create an engaging, impactful sculpture for the City Center at Hanna Avenue Government Services Building.

TAMPA, Fla. – The City of Tampa has issued a nationwide call for artists to create an engaging, impactful sculpture for the City Center at Hanna Avenue Government Services Building.

This request for qualifications reaches around 100,000 artists across the country, with around 20,000 artists regionally. 

The selection committee has expressed an interest in a large, signature sculpture to function as a welcome and identifier for a significant city facility. The project budget is set at $300,000. 

City Center at Hanna Avenue is located at 2515 East Hanna Avenue in Seminole Heights East. This government services building is under construction now, and will be a state-of-the-art, LEED Silver facility.

It will house employees from seven City departments.   The deadline for artists to submit their proposal is November 18, 2022. Submit an application via café.
