Tampa Police Need Your Help In Shooting Death Of 16-Year-Old At McDonald’s Tuesday Night

Democratic politicians running on tough-on-crime platforms are making names for themselves in many prominent races, and some have even won elections in deep-blue cities drowning in violent crime.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is working to identify suspects involved in a shooting on Tuesday night that left a teenager deceased.

Shortly after 8:30 PM on October 18, 2022, officers responded to the McDonald’s located at 4009 N Armenia Ave for a reported shooting in the parking lot. A deceased 16-year-old male was found lying on the ground with a 9MM handgun and several shell casings next to him.

He appeared to suffer from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Witnesses told police that the victim was walking through the south side of the parking lot with a group of others just prior to the shooting when the sound of gunshots were heard, and an unknown vehicle fled the scene.

None of the witnesses saw the shooter. Friends of the deceased fled the scene on foot before officers arrived, leaving him behind.

Prior to the shooting, the deceased was identified by Tampa PD detectives as a suspect in a separate armed robbery incident. At this time, detectives believe the deceased was firing shots at the suspects just prior to being fatally shot.
