Pasco County Schools To Remain Closed Friday

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County Schools’ work crews have been out conducting checks on schools, looking for possible damage and flooding.

“We are closing our hurricane shelters this morning, and then we will start the process of cleaning the shelters and preparing them for our students and staff to return,” said PCS.

“At this moment, our earlier announcement stands: All schools and district offices are closed today and Friday. We expect to be able to return to return to school and to work on Monday, October 3,” said the school district.

You can stay tuned for updates on the school district website and on social media. The Free Press will also report any updates from the district.
