PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 42-year-old Holiday man was struck and killed by two vehicles on US-19 Tuesday around 9:24 pm.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Dodge Durango was traveling southbound on US-19, north of Flora Avenue followed by a Tesla Model 3, not in autopilot mode.
The Holiday man was traveling eastbound across US-19 in a nonmotorized wheelchair and entered the path of the vehicles.
The man was struck first by the Durango and subsequently struck again by the Tesla.
Troopers say the man was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
