Tampa Man Killed In Overnight Motorcycle Crash On I-275 Ramp

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 33-year-old Tampa man has died after a crash that happened around 1:45 am on Monday in Pinellas County on a motorcycle.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling northbound along the I-275 exit ramp leading to 31st Street South when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.

Troopers say the bike entered the center median, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle and collided with a guardrail, suffering fatal injuries.

According to investigators, the motorcycle continued over the guardrail and came to a stop in the inside lane of the southbound entrance ramp.
