A Florida man has been arrested after trying to slow down cars by standing in the road with a shotgun. Not your typical crossing guard style.
According to Marion County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to the 23400 block of NE 118th Ave for an aggravated assault that had just occurred in the roadway.
The investigation revealed that Charlie Kramer Sr. was standing in the middle of the roadway with a shotgun when the victim was driving down the road.
The victim had come to a stop in order not to hit Kramer.
Kramer began yelling at the victim about his speed and pointed the shotgun at the victim, who then sped off while in fear of getting shot.
Deputies met with Kramer, who admitted to everything but stated he pointed the gun at the car, not the victim.
He was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
