ODESSA, FL. – A special festival featuring activities for Cub Scouts and students interested in learning more about the organization for boys and girls is planned for May 14.

Spring Cub Fest, sponsored by the Fort Brooke District of the Greater Tampa Bay Council of Boy Scouts of America, will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Camp Brorein, 16901 Boy Scout Road. Participants can attend anytime during that time period.

Designed for elementary school children, the family event features fun activities including shooting sports, climbing, crafts, games, and displays, said Tom Knotts, Fort Brooke District Activities chairman.

“It’s a great opportunity to see what the Cub Scout program offers – fun, friendship, and outdoor activities,” Knotts said.

The event registration fee is $10 per participant. To register, see https://scoutingevent.com/089-springcubfest
