A South Florida congressional candidate maintains there is clear evidence of voting irregularity.
And while it may be a nationwide phenomenon, Republican Jeff “Bongi” Buongiorno says the problem is bad enough in Florida alone.
Writing recently in The Free Press, Buongiorno noted that on Nov. 4, 2020, he “woke up with a visceral feeling of nausea” that Joe Biden was going to be the next president of the United States.
“The delay in the vote count, sudden re-start with unnatural apportionment of votes, and early calling of states by the media presented a huge red flag,” wrote Buongiorno, who is now a candidate in Florida’s 21st Congressional District, represented by Democratic Rep. Lois Frankel.
Buongiorno noted that he is the CEO of a tech firm that specializes in analytics and database crunching to benefit manufacturers and local governments.
So, he began digging.
He said what he “found on a national level was astonishing,” but for now, he wanted to focus on his discovery as it pertains to his race and Palm Beach County.
“What I have discovered on the local level is equally astonishing as what was discovered on the national level. What was believed to be a local problem in Palm Beach County seems to be a statewide issue,” he added.
Utilizing an app his firm created – called “Election Integrity Now!” – to go over the vote tallies, Buongiorno said he “unearthed” 9,700 violations of Florida election law.
He pointed out that each county elections supervisor must “itemize the vote count, by contest, by candidate, and by vote type (type-by mail, day of, Early, and provisional).”
Irregularities, which Buongiorno called “reporting violations,” were found in the results of a special 2021 U.S. House race between Democrats Dale Holness and Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. Some of the same flaws emerged in a local election in March.
Armed with that knowledge, he added, “We decided to take a deep dive into the 2020 General Election results as reported by the Broward County Supervisors of Election office. We found the reporting in that county also to be in violation of the Florida Election Code and lacking any transparency.”
That survey yielded evidence of a “lack of reporting transparency” by election supervisors in all 67 counties, repeating hundreds, if not thousands, of times.
That, Buongiorno wrote, “is a threat to our rights as citizens, our national security, and the freedom of future generations. Without detailed reporting and full transparency, candidates are rendered powerless and incumbents yet again, in the driver’s seat.”
“More disturbing is the apparent withholding of vital information by our elected officials and the devastation this has caused in our local school boards across the state and country,” he added. “How is it possible that nearly every school board has gone woke on the people at the same time our election officials are all committing the same crime?”
Buongiorno said more than 100 Palm Beach County residents have requested the Sheriff’s Office investigate the flaws Buongiorno uncovered – only to be told deputies do not investigate election law.
Citing the state Constitution, he added, “We the people are the first branch of the government and the ultimate oversight committee of our elected officials!”
“We demand answers on the failure of the SOEs [elections supervisors] of Florida to properly report election results in accordance with Florida law! Florida Election statutes seemed flawed by design,” he said.
