TAMPA, FL. – A 4-year-old girl has died after officers say she was found unresponsive at a motel in Tampa around 2:04 am on Monday.
According to Tampa Police PIO, Jamel Lanee’, officers responded to the Sunshine Motel in reference to an unresponsive 4-year-old female child.
When officers and rescue units arrived, life-saving measures began and the child was transported to a nearby hospital where she passed.
The case is under investigation and we will update this story when additional information becomes available.
