TAMPA, FL. – Today seven guns, loads of ammunition, and more than $150,000 in drugs are off of Tampa streets, according to Tampa Police.
According to investigators, Tampa PD received numerous calls from citizens regarding drug activity on the front lawn of a known “trap house” in District 2.
Police say the same house was riddled in bullets last year and it has been a focus of their VCE Squad, to shut down the “nuisance” property.
SWAT Team, Bomb Squad, Patrol, and the SEU Squads served a warrant last weekend in which four men were arrested and each of them faces numerous felony charges for narcotics and/or illegal firearms.
“Every gun & bullet removed from our city’s streets is an opportunity to prevent another person from becoming a violent crime victim,” said Tampa Police Department in a social post.
