Tucker Carlson Denounces Trans Movement, Twitter For Silencing Debate – Asks What Happened To Liberals Who Claim To Believe In Free Speech

You can tell another conservative has been punished by our Big Tech overlords. It’s a day that ends in “y.”

The latest from the right to feel the wrath of the left is Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who, like the late George Carlin, was partially scrubbed from social media for uttering seven forbidden words.

Those words: “But wait. Both these tweets are true.”

In that tweet, posted Tuesday, Carlson was referring to tweets a couple of days earlier by The Babylon Bee and Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative activist group Turning Point USA.

Both the Bee and Kirk had mocked USA Today for naming U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine one of its “women” of the year. Levine, a longtime public health official in Pennsylvania before joining the Biden administration, is a biological man who transitioned to becoming a woman at age 54.

The Bee tweeted that it was naming Levine its “man” of the year. Kirk recalled Levine’s background and asked, “Where are the feminists?”

Twitter suspended the Bee and Kirk for violating its “hateful conduct policy.”

Carlson responded by posting the suspension letters Twitter slapped on the Bee and Kirk. His tweet was subsequently removed.

In commenting on the removal Wednesday night, Carlson noted, “The point of the trans movement isn’t to convince anyone if biology isn’t real, they’re not even trying, that’s an impossible case to make. The point is to make the rest of us repeat a lie, to say something we know perfectly well is not true.”

He then cited transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas as an example.

“Making you pretend to believe something you don’t, that’s the point because if they can make you pretend to believe something you know is untrue, they’ve won, they control your brain,” Carlson continued.

“Our national conversation about transgenderism is completely defined by censorship, by making you shut up, not allowing you to notice the obvious is why they’re doing it, there’s no attempt to persuade you.”

“On Twitter, as in our public life, truth is no defense,” Carlson added.

The Fox star then noted the rise and beliefs of leftist Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, whom, Carlson said, is the one person who decides the content of much of America’s political discourse.

“What happened to all the liberals and the self-described civil libertarians we used to have in America? They don’t seem to be fighting the power anymore,” Carlson said. “They seem to have joined it.”
