TAMPA, FL. – The Tampa Police Department responded to the 4900 block of Lake Av E just before 8:00 pm and located a vehicle in the ditch.
Inside the vehicle, they discovered a victim with upper body trauma. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.
This is an active investigation so Lake Av E will be closed between 48th St N and 50th St N for several hours.
