PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the application deadline for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) to September 11, 2020. The original deadline had been August 28. Also, new commodities will now be eligible for CFAP funding, including additional specialty crops, aquaculture, nursery crops, and cut flowers.
CFAP was developed and introduced by the USDA in response to the negative impact of COVID-19 on agriculture in the U.S. Information about the expanded CFAP is available at https://www.farmers.gov/cfap, including application options.
