85-Year-Old Man Dies Weeks After St. Petersburg Crash

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – An 85-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a traffic collision that occurred in late February. George Moulton passed away on March 18th, 2025, according to information released by the St. Petersburg Police Department today.

The crash occurred on February 24th, 2025, at approximately 11:10 a.m.

Police say a Dodge Charger traveling northbound on 5th Street North made a westbound turn onto 5th Avenue North. At the same time, a Nissan Versa, driven by Moulton, was traveling westbound on 5th Avenue North in the curb lane.

The two vehicles collided, causing the Nissan Versa to overturn and strike a parked, unoccupied vehicle.

Moulton was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital for treatment. He succumbed to his injuries on March 18th, 2025.

The driver of the Dodge Charger remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
