85-Year-Old Man Dies After Crash In St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – An 85-year-old man died Tuesday from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash on April 16th.

At about 4:57 p.m. that day, Calvin Dickinson was driving a red Kia Sportage eastbound on Tyrone Boulevard North, approaching 68th Street North.

The Kia attempted to make a left turn onto 68th Street North and entered the path of a black Dodge Charger traveling westbound on Tyrone Blvd. North. The vehicles collided.

Dickinson was transported by ambulance to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital.

The other driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Dickinson passed away Tuesday, April 30th, as a result of his injuries.
