A Brandon, Florida man can’t get that voodoo to do what it’s supposed to do. The gentleman thought he would spice up his sex life by purchasing a variable speed Voodoo vibrator from Tres Equis in Tampa.
However, the 85-year-old plaintiff claims that after inserting the necessary AA battery, the item did not work.
According to the lawsuit, When he attempted to return the item to the store on Adamo Drive, Tres Equis refused to accept his return or exchange for a new tool.
Tres Equis — Spanish for “three x’s” — is open 24/7 and “offers a wide range of adult toys and novelties, sexual enhancements and supplements, dancewear, lingerie, and access to private viewing booths and multiple group theaters.”
It is unknown why he purchased the device but the store apparently won’t accept returns once the packaging has been opened.
In a suit filed in Hillsborough small-claims court, the 85-year-old man demands Tres Equis either exchange the vibrator for a new one or repay him $36.53.
