CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – An early morning accident claimed the life of an 83-year-old man from Homosassa.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 4:00 am, the Homosassa man drove a pickup truck and was traveling eastbound on Kracker Lane. The man lost control of the truck, entered the north shoulder, and collided with a tree. Transported to an area hospital, the man died from injuries sustained during the crash.
