Eight members and associates of the GoodFellas Gang have been indicted in the Northern District of Georgia on charges related to attempted murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and attempted carjacking, announced federal authorities.
The indictment, unsealed yesterday, alleges that the GoodFellas are a violent gang that recruits members in Atlanta neighborhoods, local jails, and Georgia Department of Corrections facilities, using violence to enhance their reputation.

According to the indictment, six defendants are accused of shooting and attempting to murder four victims. Additionally, two other members and associates allegedly attempted a carjacking and assaulted three victims with a dangerous weapon.
Those charged include:
- Frank Hubbert, 38 (also known as Capo Frank)
- Montavis Jones, 37 (also known as Nigel Woods, Jitt, and Git)
- Darian Sheppard, 27 (also known as Lil D)
- De’Andre Jackson, 22 (also known as Gen, Glock, and Glizzy)
- Ephram Marshall, 24 (also known as Lil E)
- Tahj Rankine, 26 (also known as Biggz)
- Leonunte Carson, 22 (also known as Lil Tae)
- Ahday Nelson-George, 25 (also known as Baby K)
Hubbert, Jones, Sheppard, Jackson, Marshall, Rankine, and Carson face multiple counts of attempted murder in aid of racketeering and using a firearm during those crimes. Hubbert and Nelson-George are charged with multiple counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and attempted carjacking.

Seven of the defendants face a maximum penalty of life in prison, while Nelson-George faces a maximum of 75 years. A federal judge will determine the sentences based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other factors.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia Department of Corrections, and the Atlanta Police Department.

The case is being prosecuted by the Criminal Division’s Violent Crime and Racketeering Section and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia.
This operation is part of Operation Take Back America, a Justice Department initiative aimed at eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations and protecting communities from violent crime.
