CLEARWATER, Fla. – The driver of the hit-and-run that happened on Tuesday was arrested Wednesday night.
Grace Hunter, 75, of Clearwater has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury and driving with a license suspended or revoked causing serious bodily injury.
The crash occurred at about 3 p.m. at Myrtle Avenue and Jones Street, according to police.
Hunter was taken into custody after a member of the community recognized her vehicle from social media posts and contacted the police.

Hunter was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
Police say the 51-year-old victim remains in critical condition at Bayfront Health-St. Petersburg.
