64-Year-Old Dover Man Killed After Motorcycle Crashed Into Flatbed Tow Truck

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – A 64-year-old Dover man was killed in a crash that happened around 10:45 pm on Thursday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Dover man was traveling eastbound on SR-574, (MLK Blvd).

Troopers say a flatbed tow truck was traveling eastbound on SR-574, ahead of the motorcycle, and was slowing to
turn left onto Tanner Road.

Investigators say the Dover man failed to slow and collided with the rear of the flatbed tow truck. Troopers say the motorcycle came to stop along the south shoulder of the roadway.

The 64-year-old man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
