FLORAL CITY, Fla. – A Floral City man has been arrested on multiple charges related to the possession and transmission of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

On February 6, 2025, detectives with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) High Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU), along with agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), executed a search warrant at a residence in Floral City. The investigation stemmed from a Cybertip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) indicating that CSAM was being accessed from the residence.

Detective Patrick Martin of the CCSO HTCU led the investigation, which identified 60-year-old Terry Lee Patricoff as a resident of the location. During the search, multiple electronic devices belonging to Patricoff were seized. The investigation revealed that Patricoff not only possessed but also transmitted CSAM images over the internet.

“Working cases involving Child Sexual Abuse Material are emotionally difficult, but also extremely rewarding,” said Detective Martin. “Every time an offender like Patricoff views or sends CSAM, they are promoting the production and distribution of these types of images and videos, victimizing countless children. As investigators, we are thankful that the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office gives us the training and cutting-edge digital forensic tools to identify, find, and arrest predators like Patricoff, making our community a safer place.”

Patricoff was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Transmission of Child Pornography. He is currently being held at the Citrus County Jail without bond.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed pending the forensic examination of the seized devices.
