CLEARWATER, Fla. – A 56-year-old man has died after being struck by a motorcycle Sunday just after 9:30 pm.
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a pedestrian-involved crash at 9:33 p.m. Sunday at Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Mercury Avenue.
A 56-year-old pedestrian crossing Gulf-to-Bay was struck by a westbound motorcycle. The pedestrian was taken to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died.

The 25-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for treatment of minor injuries.
The next of kin for the victim has not been notified.
