PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. – A 53-year-old Largo man has died Saturday after being hit by a car just after 5:00 a.m.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car, driven by a 50-year-old man from Seminole, was traveling northbound on Seminole Boulevard at Walsingham Road where the Largo man was crossing in the middle of
the intersection.
Troopers say the driver didn’t see the pedestrian as he was wearing dark clothing in a “low-light environment”.
The car collided with the Largo man who suffered critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The man later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
