Five fortunate Florida Lottery scratch-off players claimed a combined $5 million in winnings last week, according to the Florida Lottery.

On Monday, the Florida Lottery announced Monday that Fred Ballou, 60, of Vero Beach, claimed a $1 million prize from the $20 MONOPOLY DOUBLER Scratch-Off game at Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office.

Ballou chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $798,985.00.

Ballou purchased his winning ticket from Sam’s Market and Deli at 1503 Angle Road in Fort Pierce. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Also on Monday, Thomas Hoshko, 69, of Fort Lauderdale, claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office.

He received his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $685,000.00.

Hoshko purchased his winning ticket from Publix at 4703 North Ocean Drive in Lauderdale-by-the Sea. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The Florida Lottery announced Tuesday that Heather Hancock, 47, of Parrish, claimed a $1 million prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.

Also on Tuesday, Humberto Herrera Alvarez, 37, of Miami, claimed a $1 million top prize from the MYSTERY MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office.

He received his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $798,985.00.

The Florida Lottery announced Thursday that Lashonda Roberts, 49, of Brandon, claimed a $1 million prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.

Roberts purchased her winning ticket from Publix, located at 250 Third Street South, St. Petersburg. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
