RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Five juveniles were arrested after stealing a golf cart from a clubhouse in the Triple Creek Community in Riverview, leading to a foot chase and the involvement of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Aviation Section.
The incident occurred on March 19, 2025, just after 11 p.m. when HCSO patrol deputies attempted a traffic stop on the stolen golf cart. In a bid to evade capture, the five juveniles jumped from the moving vehicle and fled on foot.

HCSO’s Aviation Section provided aerial support, assisting ground units in the pursuit. After several foot chases, all five juveniles were apprehended.
“Theft, no matter the item, is a violation of our community’s sense of safety,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We will continue to protect the property of our residents and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.”
The juveniles are facing charges related to the theft and fleeing from law enforcement. Further details about the juveniles’ identities and specific charges have not been released.
