The new year started out with a bang for five lucky Florida Lottery scratch-off players. This past week, the Florida Lottery announced those five winners for a combined jackpot pool of $21,000,000.
On Tuesday, the Florida Lottery announced that Tirza Pineda, 50, of Miami, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office.
She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Pineda purchased her winning ticket from Sunshine, located at 2498 Northwest 87th Avenue in Miami. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Then on Wednesday, two winners were announced. Laura Purdy, 62, of Gulf Breeze, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Purdy purchased her winning ticket from Publix, located at 8244 Navarre Parkway in Navarre. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
Also announced was Frank Barone, of Delray Beach, who claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Barone purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 16130 Jog Road in Delray Beach. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
On Friday, two more winners were announced, one being a $15,000,000 jackpot smash.
The Florida Lottery announced that Candelario Argueta, 48, of Port St. Lucie, claimed a $1 million top prize from the MYSTERY MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $798,985.00.
Argueta purchased her winning ticket from PSL Discount Beverage, located at 3961 Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard in Port St. Lucie. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

And finally, to top of the week, Bryan Allen, 50, of Pensacola, claimed a $15 million top prize from the BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Pensacola District Office. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $13,200,000.00.
Allen purchased his winning ticket from Cumberland Farms, located at 1405 East Nine Mile Road in Pensacola. The retailer will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
