The operation was part of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s ongoing commitment to reduce deaths, injuries, and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving. The goal of the Wolf Pack is to educate people and create public awareness about the dangers of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any chemical or controlled substances.
Day after day, law enforcement officers actively seek out impaired drivers, and far too often, they become victims themselves. This DUI Wolf Pack is dedicated to all law enforcement officers who have been involved in a crash with an impaired driver. Because of impaired drivers, any innocent driver on our roadways could easily become the next victim.
