PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. – A 40-year-old Largo man has died from injuries sustained after being struck by a car early Tuesday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car was traveling southbound on US-19 approaching 62nd Street North when the Largo man walked eastbound across the highway and entered the vehicle’s path.
Troopers say the vehicle collided with the man.
FHP said the man was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
