TAMPA, Fla. – the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Squad successfully apprehended four juveniles involved in a vehicle theft incident in Tampa on Tuesday afternoon. The suspects were spotted driving a stolen vehicle and attempted to flee on foot after being cornered by law enforcement.

On August 7, 2024, around 12:40 p.m., the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Squad apprehended four juveniles following a brief foot chase.

The suspects were spotted in a stolen vehicle traveling eastbound on Webb Road in Tampa, which they then parked at The Park at Lake Como Apartment Complex.

The individuals, identified as Amari Cleon Adams (15), Jalijha Herbert Brooks (13), Kingston Emmanuel Johnson (16), and Keilen Joshua Williams (15), face various charges including burglary, resisting arrest, and, in the case of Williams, firearm-related offenses.

“Our detectives acted swiftly ensuring that these suspects were arrested before they could pose any further threat to our community,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We will not tolerate criminal behavior in our neighborhoods. No matter how fast you run, teamHCSO will bring suspects to justice.”
