38-Year Old St. Pete Woman Killed in Pasco County Pedestrian Crash Overnight

HOLIDAY, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 38-year-old woman from St. Pete was killed overnight, crossing US 19 in Holiday Florida.

Troopers say around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, an SUV driven by a 23-year-old female from Oldsmar was traveling northbound on US-19 in the inside lane, south of Flora Avenue.

The 38-year-old woman was walking eastbound across US-19 in the intersection, but not in the crosswalk, and entered the path of the SUV. As a result, the SUV collided with the pedestrian, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

No injuires to the driver or her passenger were reported.
