HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 34-year-old Spring Hill man was killed in an overnight crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the man was traveling southbound on US-41, south of Oliver Street when the man lost control of the vehicle. FHP says the man’s car departed the roadway, entered the west shoulder, and began to rotate.
As the car rotated, it collided with a water main, poles protecting the water main, and a power pole before coming to a stop.
The man was transported to a local hospital, but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
