Starting Feb. 3, Publix Pharmacy will once again open appointments for eligible individuals to receive the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at select Florida locations.
The announcement comes in collaboration with the state of Florida and includes the addition of Nassau, Pasco, and Pinellas counties to the list of Florida Publix pharmacies administering the vaccination, bringing the total number to 325 in 23 counties.
“We understand how many people in our communities want to receive this critical vaccine, and it is our privilege to administer doses to the residents of Florida,” said Publix CEO Todd Jones. “With each distribution, we remain grateful for the role we are able to play in helping protect the health and safety of as many people in our communities as possible.”
