SPRING HILL, Fla. – A tragic shooting in Spring Hill has left the community reeling, with one teenager dead and two others injured.

On August 18th, a shooting at Mariner’s Cay Apartments in Spring Hill left one teenager dead and two others injured. The victims, aged 15 to 17, were ambushed while entering the apartment complex and drove to a nearby Publix for help.

One of the teens, a 16-year-old male, tragically succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. The other two are expected to recover.

Deputies swiftly arrested three suspects: Tarian Rush, 18, Uriah Booker, 17, and Damarion Hall, 15. The shooting stemmed from an ongoing feud between the teenagers, which recently escalated into a physical fight.

Rush faces charges of 2nd Degree Murder and two counts of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Booker and Hall are charged as accessories to 2nd Degree Murder.

Rush is held without bond at the Hernando County Detention Center. Booker and Hall, both juveniles, are detained without bond at the Juvenile Detention Center in Ocala.
